Battery Setting Question - DJI Air 3s KMZ Plan

I've used MPP for a couple of years now with an Android tablet and my old Mini 3 (uses virtual sticks), however, I got an Air 3s this spring and am running MPP on my iPad Pro. Setting everything up, file transfer, flight, etc, all work great. 

With my Mini 3 setup, I once did a massive 600acre map that really benefited from the Battery Limited setting of the flight. It worked dynamically based on the drone's current battery reading and where the drone was relative to the home point. 

For my Air 3s waypoint setup, there's a max setting of 24 minutes and then it jumps to Battery Limited. When using KMZ waypoints, is battery limited even possible or does it use the maximum 24 minute setting? The batteries for the Air 3s are rated for longer flight times than 24 minutes, and while I know those rated flight times are for impossibly perfect conditions, I want to make sure I'm maximizing my batteries per mapping as best as possible. 

So I guess my question is does the Battery Limited setting when using Waypoints do anything different than just using the max static setting (24 minutes)?
