Remote Control GL300L

I am trying to use Map Pilot Pro on my iPad connected to a GL300L Remote Control flying my Phantom 4 RTK. I know I'm late to the game, but this is the only equipment I can afford. I am now paying for the Pro Level of your software, but still cannot get it to work. I receive error messages like Remote not supported. According to your help pages, there is no mention of the remote not being supported. How can I get the software to talk to the remote and the remote to talk to the drone?

That is a great aircraft. The Android version of Map Pilot Pro can only be installed on Android 8 and up and I think that aircraft is older than that. You can get the "SDK Remote" which allows you to use 3rd party apps with it and run 3rd party apps from a mobile device.

Yeah, I’m trying to run it off my iPad with the GL300L which is the SDK remote. The app runs fine as I make maps, plan the set up, but when it comes to fly the mission, I get error messages. Like it doesn’t recognize the remote. The iPad is fine, but the remote won’t connect. Does that make sense?

Sorry I missed that that was the remote you have. The K is the one with the built in screen.

Do the DJI apps work?

Have you fully closed all other drone related apps?

I haven't been able to get DJI GO 4 to work, no. I think the old DJI mapping will work. I just haven’t tried very hard yet. But they are closed when I try. Everything is off when I try to use Map Pilot Pro.

Ground Station Pro was the name of the app I couldn’t remember last night. I haven’t had any luck with getting it to work either but it might be expensive to run anyway.

So I found DJI Pilot last night, but it got to be too late to test it. It’s not made for iPad, so I might try it with my iPhone later. Hopefully I can at least fly the thing! Let alone map with it.
