Problems during consecutive flights on larger maps

I am having a problem with mapping from the second flights onwards on larger maps. The drone regularly fails to take images sometimes up to 3 at a time. The video feed is also incredibly laggy, up to 5 seconds behind real time. It only seems to do it once the second flight is activated as it takes the images perfectly up till then. I am using an iPad mini 3, genuine apple lightning cable, Inspire 1 v1.0 X5 Newest firmware on everything not other apps open. Tried restarting iPad, Drone, re-downloading the app nothing fixes the problem.

I think it may be incorrectly identifying the camera and lens also. On screen it says X5, Olympus 12mm but if I restart the app it gives me a different GSD than the initial startup using the same settings.

I have tried making the drone move slower but it also makes no difference. The DJI go app has perfect video feed without restarting anything. I have had to move to drone deploy to capture my data and it is working flawlessly but I would prefer to use Map Pilot for the terrain awareness and other features.
