What's the latest with NDVI and MME.? Looking for some up to date info. Use MME quite a bit and looking to break into NDVI, is MME current and if so, what equipment is most compatible etc.?

NDVI is not something we focus on because we question the actual value of it and don't really like misleading people as to the results it can provide. We offered it early on (and have not changed it since).

Hi Zane, quite happy to hear that to be honest.. I never had the best results with the camera I had and am interested to learn your thoughts on why it is misleading and what you think is a 'better' option. Is there some further reading / MME processes you can point me at.? Thanks, Marcus

There is way more to the story that red and green pictures. I am not aware of a system out there that can regularly go out and collect data that will turn out the same if it is taken in the morning and the evening on the same day. There shouldn't be big differences but there will be given the same processing.
There is certainly value in making comparative measurements but they are not going to say "this plant is healthy" or "this plant needs X". We work with a lot of big ag customers and they do very little with NDVI. They do various other things, but mass adoption of NDVI cameras is not one of them.
