I’m interested to know if It is best to capture oblique imagery of a large slope (45 degree) by running with the contours, perpendicular or both?
Is it possible to set the mission in MPP so that the drone heading is fixed (perpendicular to the slope) and when it goes down the slope it would be flying backwards. This would enable the camera angle to be set in the drone so it is always at approx. 90 degrees to the slope.
We do not offer anything to do that but why would you want to do it? The ortho image will be resampled from above. Nadir is fine. If you are dealing with a super steep slope it may be a different situation but in that case most automated tools aren't going to help.
