Improving DEM quality

Hi, I sent a project for processing and while examining the DEM I noticed that there are several areas that need to be improved. Of course, this is an issue on my side and appears to be related to areas of shading in my imagery, but I wanted to ask how I can change my flight planning in order to improve my DEMs. I assume it is something such as flying a grid, perhaps increasing or decreasing my overlap, as well as flying at a different elevation. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
