Map Pilot is designed for mapping using the aircraft's primary camera as the video source. We do support built in FPV camera views in Map Pilot AG on certain M2XX aircraft but not 3rd party ones on the M600.
We don't offer a lot of optimizations for LiDAR data collection.

I guess what i'm saying is, i know it's not an sdk issue and clarifying it's just a feature you guys don't want to enable.
I highly suggest allowing the ability to do this as it would turn lots of people to your app especially now as LiDAR has become cheaper and more prevalent in the mapping and surveying field. we don't need LiDAR optimizations, we just want to be able to use an FPV camera to see where we are in the air when carrying over $200k+ sensor units. Your app is good enough for the use.
There are no optimizations needed with LiDAR data collection as my company has been using your app for a while now for LiDAR collection and the two main reasons for us using it is....Curved corners and the use of the SRTM 30 data for terrain following. LiDAR sensors are stand alone and the only thing map pilot needs to do is fly the pattern.
Feel free to email us for a quote on adding that feature. We highly doubt that the number of people who would download the app specifically for that feature or would pay for an in app purchase would ever cover the engineering and testing time it would require.
