For that particular example where would it be getting moved? We really have a hard time seeing the actual utility of this. If you want to back it off that street you have to move two points. If you moved the whole thing then you would likely have to adjust the other end anyway.

팔로우*Feature Request* Shift entire grid
Zane,
Probably been asked for before, but one element of DD that I really appreciate and miss in MP is the ability to shift the entire grid. This is incredibly useful and time saving when trying to ensure a flight line does not go over a street, or a cliff band, or tall trees, etc.
Doing the same by adjusting corners and having the spacing auto shift can be extremely slow and frustrating.
It is understood that the actual flight line may be meters off when in the field. However, that does not reduce the usefulness of this element in mission planning.
Thanks!

I just grabbed that one at random. But, this is a decent example.
The housing on the east (right) is a concern and the street in front of it. The left side of the mission is super safe and no concern. When I adjust the right corners, the flight lines themselves adjust often negating my edit. So then I try again, this time also moving the left hand corners trying to anticipate what the re-draw of the flight lines will be. Rinse and repeat until I get lucky or give up.
Being able to anchor a particular flight line where the user wants it would work too. But I suspect that would involve a lot more coding than just being able to move the whole block at once.
OK. So your main goal is 'maintaining your edit' which we take to mean keeping all your passes happy and square which can be tweaky sometimes.
Map Pilot 5.0 will have more precise rotations which may (or may not) fix the issue.
We will send you an invite to the beta for that.
roger that. will keep a lookout.
Edit: notification just came through.
