You could use a grid flight to cover a slightly larger surrounding area with the gimbal tipped up 15-20 degrees or so. Map Pilot does not do live flight adjustments based on the obstacle avoidance sensors.

Hi
I need to setup repeatable flight plans to inspect large, round cylindrical tanks. The tanks are 30m in diameter, and 20m high. I am wondering if MapPilot could provide a suitable tool to fly within close proximity (e.g. 5m) of structures (i.e. tanks)? Can obstacle avoidance sensors be activated/ used within MapPilot, or not? Thanks.
