Is there a way to keep the map from "springing" back down after zooming in using the IOS two-finger method? I maintain a wifi connection while I'm mapping.
The "springing back" you are describing is because the offline saved version of the cached basemap only has a certain amount of detail associated with it so we limit the zoom there since there is not more data to show.
We will look into making it so the Apple Maps basemaps don't get that same automatic zoom reduction.

Thanks, Ryan. I'm confused as I don't use cached maps. I maintain a wifi connection on site. The other confusing quirk is that the map will enlarge and show fine detail as long as I keep at least one finger on the screen. When I remove the finger it springs back.
