Annotation table and volume measuring

I'm doing a number of measurements, length and area only. After each area measurement, I get a prompt saying that I can do a volume measurement on this feature. How do I turn this prompt off?

Secondly, does MME have a annotation table which tracks and lists all features measured which can be exported to Excel?

There is no way to turn the volume measurement prompt off.

The annotations can be downloaded in a KML by clicking the "KML of Annotations" link:
