map pilot pro keeps wanting to format sd card

Air 2S no SD card just internal memory pilot pro keeps saying needs to format sd card. im not taking hundreds of photos so i don't need an sd card. do i need a sd card to fly my missions? is there a work around for this also im always out of the cell service are how can i upload map missions prior to going to the field?

Map Pilot Pro does not support the use of the internal memory. 

You can do a rough mission plan while you have internet access. Double click to drop the anticipated take off point (purple dot) and then draw the mission and save it. Then you will have everything you need to make fine adjustments in the field without internet access.
