Time to upgrade!
Not considering price, what is the best iOs device to run Map Pilot? Yesterday we ran a multi battery Linear Mission with terrain follow enabled in 95 degree heat using an iPhone 6s OS 11.3. Despite repeated app lock up, mission uploads freezing at various percentages, and super tedious touch screen way point adjustments we managed to complete the project, but man, it was painful!
Also,
can the missions be planned on a laptop then synced to a tablet like Drone Deploy?
We are recommending the iPad mini 5. Running in direct sunlight will still be an issue though. Always keep the device in the shade if you can and take any cases off to allow it to cool. Some people use fans when it is super hot...
Map Pilot will have web based area definition in the next major release.
