Flying higher than 300m

Hello,

Why it is not possible to fly higher than 300m in Map Pilot (e.g: 500m) ?

Because we really don't want people crashing into airplanes. Technically users in most places can't fly over 120m or so legally. Technically aircraft shouldn't be flying below 330m in most places.

Technically, is there any problem for generating Georeferenced Orthomosaic Imageries and accurate 3D Contour Lines with photos taken at 500 m ? Sure the GSD will be higher, but is there any other bad effect e.g: X,Y or Z Accuracy problem ?

N.B: We suppose that the taken photos by P4P drone are corrected by GCPs (cm Accuracy)

It wouldn't likely be any better or worse from that high up.

The GCPs do not correct for curvature. They only apply a linear correction which usually turns out to be an offset. If all the GCPs are 25 m, it will adjust the existing DEM by 25m. It they are all between 20 and 30m off and average out to 25m off it will adjust accordingly. If one side is off by 40m and the other is off by 20m it will attempt to adjust the slope accordingly. We could do more but the GCPs would really have to be regularly spread through the covered area.
