3D Model of Wind Turbine Blade

Hi

I'm off to do an inspection of a wind turbine next week. I want to take a series of photos of each blade using a DJI Phantom. How do I take the photos so that I can build a 3d model, examine it and then, if a problem area is found, highlight the source photos of that area?

Modeling wind turbines is notoriously hard to do well. The white ones are generally featureless and tend to saturate the images on the bright edges. These are not good things for doing photogrammetric reconstruction...
