Irregular Image Spacing and Beeping During Mission

Here is a completed mission I flew a few days ago (and haven't yet uploaded to MME). Unlike the mission I flew a few weeks (and a few MapPilot updates) ago, this one shows irregularities in the image spacing. What could cause this?

Also, during my missions, I hear a beeping sound. The signal strength? It seems to happen more as the UAV gets further away, but the signal strangth seems to show "good enough" (40% ish). What is the beeping?

The irregular spacing and beeping is due to low remote control signal levels. Any time the signal drops below 85%, it will start beeping at you to remind you to point the remote at the aircraft. The responsiveness of the system drops off very quickly after 80%. 40% is likely almost not operable.

Use the directional indicator under the status bar to keep it centered. It makes a really big difference. We didn't put that in there for fun!

Ah, OK. I am not getting anywhere the range out of this thing that others are reporting. I was pointing at the aircraft but it still did that. It's possible that the power lines along the east edge are interfering but I sort of doubt it. Now I know at least. Thanks!!

This forum software is extremely limited. Eventually you might want to switch but I know it is super painful and you lose all of your old knowledge. The longer you wait the more painful it is :-)

Robert, is your wifi off on your iOS device? I get incredible range at my farm. Urban is not so good. Turning wifi off helps. I also set custom channel in the dji go app ( when I'm in urban area). Not sure if map pilot overwrites that though.

Our Help Center software is certainly limited but is not meant to be a standard forum. It is meant more to be a Q and A setting where we accept the correct answer so people can get to the information they need quickly. Also, allowing users to post more than text turns running the forum into a spam management exercise.
We actually just migrated to this from another solution that was nearly impossible to manage. Thanks for your help though!

Kurt,
We do not overwrite any of the transmission settings so they should stay put when we connect if you set it up in DJI Go.

Good idea on turning off the wireless interfaces. We see significantly shortened range when operating in the city as well. We will try flying in Airplane Mode and see if that helps things.

Is there a way to turn this "low signal" beeping off or, at least, somewhat down? I fly mostly in "connectionless" mode, so I do not have to care about signal level.

And listening to this constant beeping (in places where I fly this beeping is almost always constant no matter how I turn for better signal) is really distracting me from running mission...

The mute button on the iOS device or turn down the volume using the volume buttons are probably the best option.

The P4P seems to almost stop triggering at 80% or so while the Mavic 2 Pro will go all the way down to 25% and operate fine. What we are showing with that value is what DJI reports via telemetry. It does seem to vary quite a bit between models.
