"Please make sure all the XMP and EXIF tags are present."

Hi there! I'm using a DJI Mini 2 to try to do mapping, and have made my first attempt. However, when I uploaded the images, I get the "Please make sure all the XMP and EXIF tags are present." error.

I copied the files from the Micro SD card to a folder, selected the relevant ones to mapping using Adobe Bridge, and that's it.

Adobe Bridge is the issue here. It overwrites the tags the DJI Workflow needs to check the images. You can probably still use the Classic workflow with those images. Hopefully you still have the originals on the SD card though. Just upload the images directly from there to be sure they don't get modified first.

Looks like I'm stuck, the Classic uploader only does JPEGs, and I have DMGs. Is there any way to undo any edits Bridge may have done?

Only JPGs are accepted by Maps Made Easy. It is possible to covert them but it is proven to be difficult for people to do it while maintaining all the tags.

Hopefully the originals are still on the SD card but it is very possible they were touched by the photo management software.

You would not be the first person to wreck the originals this way and you probably won't be the last.

How do I force the Map Pilot Pro app to take JPGs? I just loaded the app, launched a mission, and it gave me DNGs again.

it sounds like you have the 'RAW' format selected in the 'Data Capture Format' in the Settings. Just select 'JPG Images' if you don't want the RAW images.
