The trashcan icon on the lower portion of the Flight Plan Stats pullout tab will clear the currently planned flight. We attempt to keep the aborted or abandoned mission active in the case of an accidental app closure or crash.
Today, I was getting missing photos on a mission (post is here: http://support.dronesmadeeasy.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/205544903-Missing-Photos).
The second time I flew the mission in an attempt to collect all of the images, I noticed that it was missing images (dots) again, so I tapped the Go Home RC button and abandoned the mission and brought the p3 home.
Subsequently, I could not figure out how to clear the abandoned mission. Every time I tried to start a new mission, the app reported that it was going to continue the last mission at the point of abandonment. Finally, I copied the mission to a new name and deleted the original. This seemed to work, but the app still reported that the current mission is not the one that was abandoned.
Is there a proper way to tell the app that I don't want to continue the abandoned mission so that I can move on?
Thanks!

Ok, thank you, Ryan. I know there is good reason to be able to pick up where it left off. I just couldn't figure out how to clear it.
I flew a mission today and when changed the last battery, the abandon point didn't update to the last position but stayed where it was for the previous battery. I need to resume that mission tomorrow, is there any way to manually change the blue dot?
There is no way to manually move the reset point.
What caused the aircraft to come home that the blue dot didn't get drawn? We haven't heard of this happening before.
