Manual Camera settings

I thought there used to be an option to set camera settings in GO and MP would just use that?  I"m not seeing that option any more and using a p4p that leaves the iso at 100 and slows down the shutter is not workable in some cases like overcast skies.  Slowing down the drone enough to compensate for a shutter at ~100 is also not an option.

Is there still the option to set up the camera in GO? And if not, how can we raise the iso?

Thanks.

Map Pilot has always overwritten certain settings from Go to make sure that the settings are appropriate for mapping. This has always happened in Map Pilot.

You can adjust the ISO setting using the top right click wheel on the remote if you really must adjust it but if you need a high ISO setting that is a sign that you should probably just slow down to deal with the longer exposure times. High ISO settings lead to increased image noise, especially on CMOS sensors.

We almost always recommend using the automatic setting.

I'm only talking going from iso 100 to 200.

On an overcast day in the Pacific NW,

I ran a mission with MP and the image exifs were:

          iso = 100

  aperture = 4.0

    shutter = 80 - 100

I re-ran the mission with DD using manual settings of :

         iso = 200

  aperture = 2.8

    shutter = 240

Which was much better for the conditions.

Does MP show the iso somewhere when connected to the P4P so that I can see which iso I am setting?

The camera's exposure parameters are displayed at the top of the camera preview area. We recommend pausing the mission once the aircraft climbs to the cruising altitude and getting things set properly before continuing on.

Okay,  I hadn't noticed iso listed there before but I'll dig into it.  Thank you.

When you say We recommend pausing the mission once the aircraft climbs to the cruising altitude and getting things set properly before continuing on. Is there a pause button somewhere or is the process move the function switch from F to Atti or P get things set up properly and back to F that will allow the software to continue?

I am using an Inspire 1 v2

You can use the "Stop" button that is up next to the buttons you use to take off and upload missions. Once the aircraft is stopped it turns into a "Continue" button and will allow you to go on from that spot.
