EXIF tags not read by MME

Hi, I keep getting messages that my photos do not contain exif data, but they do.  This happens when I geo-tag my photos with either Agribotix Field Extractor, or with Mission Planner geo-tag features.  Some times if I click around on random photos within my upload folder MME will eventually read the tag correctly, but sometimes I have to go to DroneDeploy if I can't get MME to work. All these photos are read properly by Pix4D.  Any help would be great.
