3D Imaging

Attempting 3D terrain mapping of a construction site. Previous attempts using a grid map with 80/80 overlap (all nadir) resulted in poor resolution and distortion. This time I also flew around the site taking oblique pics every 2-seconds to get side views. Can't input photos to MME, it says the gimbal pitch is too high. But I need the higher pitch to capture images. Any way to just get the obj/mtl/jpg files using oblique photos?

You can upload non-conforming images to the Classic workflow but any image that is tipped up more than 50 degrees likely includes the horizon (or near it).

It sounds like you should be using the Full 3D setting.

Even if you are doing oblique images the same overlap rules apply. Everything needs to have 15+ views of it if you want it to turn out well.
