warning about flights at local noon

Frequently fly mapping flights at or near local noon to minimize shadows on clear days and for brightest conditions on overcast/cloudy days. I always get a warning that MPP does not recommend flying slightly before to slightly after local noon, and specifies time for local noon at the location. 

Was discussing this with another MPP user who also flies at/near local noon for the reasons listed above. I proposed that the possible reason for the warning was to avoid sun glint, sun reflection, specular highlights in water/wet areas that could occur with the sun at a high elevation and the UAV camera in a nadir position. 

No idea if this is the reason for the advising box, so thought I'd follow up by asking the MPP support.

Solar noon is when the sun is at its highest point for the day at that location. That warning shows when Map Pilot Pro detects that the aircraft's shadow will be cast into the field of view of the camera which can cause sun hotspot issues.

If the day is overcast you can safely ignore that warning. If you are using a circular polarizing filter to block the back reflection you can ignore it.
