Possible bug Terrain Aware + Offset

Hi,

May it be that if a mission is saved with the Terrain Aware tiles, then is opened with the tablet offline and a vertical offset (+10 metres) is applied the resulting vertical flight path becomes flat (no terrain flight following)?

In other words, it looks to me that Offsets are only to be applied when there is no Terrain Aware use otherwise the SRTM data is discarded.

The Terrain Awareness feature is not currently intended to be used with the offset feature. We will look into adding support for that.

Hi Zane,

I would really appreciate if this is clearly stated somewhere, my assumption caused a controlled flight in to trees of my drone because I thought it was following the terrain when in reality it was not (I was not paying attention to the telemetry height because I never thought about it), while it is clearly my fault I think you can help to preserve drone security by adding this consideration in to the manual...
