We are sorry to hear you're having issues. What app version are you using? What firmware version are you using? What happens if you set the gimbal to a different value?

S’abonner2009 error code since MPP update
I recently updated MPP software as well as Air 2s firmware. Now when I load a MPP mission I get the 2009 gimbal error whether I use terrain awareness or not. If I go thru the process twice the mission flys fine but each time I get this error. Gimbal angle is et to 5. Is there a solution for this? DJi wont help as they say its a 3rd party issue.

Hello!
I am having problems with Map Pilot, I use the Pro version.
When starting the flight, it shows an error: “gimbal error (-2009)”. It also presents an error with the programmed flight altitude — it automatically changes it. The software does not keep the programmed altitude, instead it adds an extra height and then performs the flight.
Please, I need help with this issue, as it is affecting my work. There is a high chance I will have to cancel my subscription. I am using the updated iOS version.
As noted in our email that we just sent you, try doing a full gimbal calibration in the DJI app to make sure the motion endpoints are set properly. Also, make sure you are using a mobile device that has plenty of horsepower. I suspect that the issue for the original poster was because they were using a very old iPad Mini which is known to have issues. If you have access to another device that is newer you should try to give that a shot.
I asked for feedback on your altitude issue in the email and that is off topic for this post.
