How to have a Camera view while using terrain awareness

Once you are in the air you should be monitoring the camera feed for the most part. If you want to see what is coming up you can toggle the plot view but what has been programmed has been programmed. There is no way to view them both concurrently aside from switching the map and camera view by pressing the button in the lower right corner.
