difference in elevation

I recently flew two small maps, one with a p4 pro and one with a p4 rtk.

I uploaded both missions to maps made easy.  the P4 was flown and planned with map pilot pro  375 AGL  and 75 overlap side and front to back,  and 20 mph.  I put the same parameters into the DJI controller for the RTK Drone.     I also flew the missions with in 5 min of each other

I uploaded both  missions and and made two separate maps,  I noticed that the  RTK Map had an average height that was 30 feet higher than the map made by the phantom 4 using map pilot pro.

Also the mission report showed a much better map from the RTK Drone.  Would the 30 difference in elevation chance the overlap report that much?  Please look at my maps and see what you think.  I am trying to adjust my flight  settings as well as comparing if it is worth having a rtk drone.

If you are going to care about your elevation results you really should be using 80% overlap at a minimum to give the most consistent results.

It looks like you did include a ground reference image for the one but not the RTK version. This means that the RTK version is strictly going from the GPS altitude that is recorded in the tags.

I am seeing about a 100 ft difference between the two. According to Google Earth the one that was taken without the RTK is 30 ft high and the other is 70 ft low.

You used more images in the RTK map. Almost double at 46 vs 29 so a quality difference should be expected. Also take the differences in lighting into account.
