Can I load Map Pilot for Business on my backup iPad?

I recently purchased Map Pilot for Business and love it so far. I always carry a second tablet in the field as a backup. Can I load the one I purchased and have it work on 2 tablets under one license?

So long as your Apple ID is the same on both devices, yes. Different Apple IDs, no.
