DJI GO and MAP PILOT, F-A-P

Not quite sure on the proper sequence here. Do I first turn on DJI GO and ensure the aircraft is connected and has good GPS, then activate MAP PILOT? at what point do I flip the mode switch to F, or do I?

We recommend making sure that everything is good by opening the DJI Go app when you show up to a new site. We certainly recommend doing a compass calibration every time you go somewhere new.

Map Pilot will tell you if your GPS signal is strong enough and make sure you have the PAF switch in the right position. It needs to be in F.
