"Waypoint uploading has timed out"

I'm getting an error message "Waypoint uploading has timed out. This usually occurs because of a poor connection to the aircraft or a lot of interference. Please try again" 

I am flying an Inspire 1 with an X3, using a brand new Ipad Pro, the one that was release in march. I've had zero issues until iOS 11.2.1 updated.

I tried moving to a location where no interference could be possible. 

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Map Pilot. 

I confirmed all the hardware was up to date in terms of firmware.

I even tried moving to different airspaces. No dice. 

I then reverted back to a back-up Ipad mini that I had, running iOS 11.1.2 and it worked with out any issue. I also tried running it on a ipad pro that had version 10.4.1. on it with no luck. Looks like iOS 11.1 is the sweet spot.
