Re-Flying a route

Has anyone got a good process to re-fly a route?

I currently make a large base image, then draw trenches and cables on it in vizio or openoffice draw.

But in the case of a subdivision as houses get built, i'd like to re-fly the exact mission so that I can make an updated base layer without having to re-align or modify my drawing layer so everything lines up correctly.

It would be really cool if a flight plan or mission could be exported as a file so myself or another staff member can load it into a new phone/account and re-fly it with a different drone etc years later to capture the exact same imagery.

What sort of process do you all currently use to re-fly missions say 2 years later to get an updated base map layer?

What things should we be doing now to make it so exactly re-flying a mission later is easier?

You are in luck!

The best way to fly a path repeatedly is to save the Mission Plan so it is on your device. This saves it locally and also to your Maps Made Easy account. When you sync your other devices in your account it will pull the Mission Plans that have been saved on other devices attached to the same account.

That is all great for devices on the same account, but you can also share a Mission Plan as a .MME file by swiping left on a saved Mission Plan and selecting the "Share" option. From there you can send it to whoever needs it.
