see my file "kroger back large topo" its about a 78 ac. flight. im using this for 2d only. several of the photos in the southeast corner did not process. please help me to understand why. the remainder of the photo worked perfectly. just trying to learn.

Your overlap was minimal to start with but that section has a lot of trees in it which will require 80% overlap to render properly (as recommend by the Data Collection guidelines that are agreed to at the time of upload). You have somewhere around 60%.

I have an almost identical situation with the southeast corner not being included (see map: Mission 4b).
But I tried an experiment and uploaded *only* the images that had been seemingly ignored of the southeast portion of the map. This time the Maps Made Easy engine was able to process much of it well (map: Mission 4c).
Why did the map engine not use them in the 4b rendering when it was ultimately able to do a good job w/ them in the 4c rendering?
Strikeroot: All cases are different so it would be better to start a new thread instead of digging up Howard's old ticket.
Your data had some highly variable lighting, low overlap and trees which are never a good mix. Any given area should be able to process fine bit if the features in that area don't match the immediate neighbors due to lighting differences or insufficient overlap they won't be included.
Also, the Phantom 3 Standard has one of the widest field of view lenses DJI has made and it isn't great for mapping with.
