Map Pilot on iPad

I tried to use Map Pilot on an iPad and could not get the start up maps to load. I had the iPad connected to a Wifi hotspot. The program looks like it wanted to work, but with no maps loading you could not make a flight plan. Any suggestions would be a huge help.

This happens sometimes and we don't really know why. It has something to do with iOS and it access to the default map data.

To fix this, close Map Pilot fully, close Apple Maps fully, then open Map Pilot and it will work.

The other alternative is to zoom way out first and wait for the data to show up. This isn't something we have been able to fix and is something that is common among apps that use Apple's data...
