Linear Mission Feedback

I flew a test yesterday of a 20+ mile road corridor project I will be flying soon (when the weather cooperates).  I will be using both terrain aware and linear missions.  I created a KML file with all flight areas defined with a centerline to guide the mission points. I have some feedback and suggestions.

Need more waypoints - I have designed 11 flight areas that are 1-2 miles long.  Each will use 10-15 points along a project centerline (referenced with the KML).  My first test was disallowed with a message about too many waypoints.  Since I will be flying 9-13 passes, I would need up to 200 waypoints.  I'm not sure what the limit is now - probably 100, but I would ask that to be increased.  Since a linear mission can now have up to 15 passes, I think the limit should be increased at least to 200 if possible.

Photo taking - every test I ran using linear missions took photos continuously after launch - on the way to the start / resume point and on the way back to home.  This creates huge numbers of photos that need to be removed before processing.  It should only take photos along the mission route.

Linear mission passes UI - it is not easy to change the number of passes by swiping the status bar.  Swiping can instead open the bar instead of changing the passes so you have to swipe to close the bar and then try again - very frustrating.  I would prefer a method of choosing how many passes on each side without swiping a multi-use screen area.  I found that I needed to design a linear flight area with 4 passes on one side and 1 on the other.  This was because a previous mission failed - it resumed to a wrong place going a wrong direction so I had to cancel the mission and create a new one to complete the desired area.  Since this is not allowed, I had to design a new mission that was not centered on my designed project centerline but offset (where I didn't have an on screen reference to help choose the mission points).  I think it would be great if you allowed an incremented setting for passes on each side so I could fly exactly where I need to relative to a given centerline.

DJI waypoint flights are limited to 99 waypoints so there is only so much that can be done. This is not something Map Pilot can change. Terrain Awareness chew through them pretty quickly in very uneven terrain.

For wide linear missions the pilot may have to make some decisions on simplifying the route to conserve waypoints.

It should not have been taking pictures on the way from the starting point to the flight path and then from the end to the landing point. It is likely the waypoints were out of sync if this was happening. This can occur if you land the aircraft manually without switching it back into F mode after taking over.
