Mapping help

Hello,

I flew a 85 ha site of trees with a mavic 2 pro at 120AGL 80/80 at 2m/s with map pilot pro recommended settings. Map pilot has been my goto app for many years now.

I was not able to process my data with correlator 3d on my desktop. The photos wont align. I tried it on a trial of pix4d mapper desktop and it would not align either.

Could the 80/80 not be enough for this? The location is a long ways from here and i cant easily go back and re fly it.

Any recommendations on helping create my map?

I am not sure why it wouldn't be working. We can't really help debug other software. Forests are really hard to do well and can take more overlap than that. At the speed you were flying there should be very little ground smear.

The only thing left to do is to check the focus.

I believe the focus is good. I flew this site prior with the M300 and L1, I was not able to process the RGB data from the L1.

I went back with the M2P as it has been very reliable and im new to the M300 and L1

I flew this on all auto settings with the M2P. Im wondering about running it though MME but if the others did not process id prob be blowing over 3000 points.

I haven't actually looked at any of the L1 imagery before. I am not sure how the overlap is controlled with that either. It has been on our list to look at for a while but we rarely have access to it.

You could try running a smaller section of the data at a downscaled resolution and that might give you some hints. Label it as L1 data in the title so we are sure to take a look at the images.
