Entering media download failed

I just ran my first mission with the Air2S and everything went as planned.  When I go to Data Transfer, it searches for the aircraft and then throws a 'entering media download failed."  I assume I need to transfer the photos from the Air2S onto the iPad and then sync them to Maps Made easy from the iPad, is that correct?  Is there an alternative way to sync the photos to the mission directly from the SD card or am I doing something wrong?  Thanks.

Support for the Air 2S is super new in the SDK. It is possible that the media transfer stuff won't work. We will have to look at it specifically to see if there is anything we can do. For now, you can always do it the old fashioned way: pull the SD card out of the camera and use a computer to upload the images to Maps Made Easy for processing.

Hi Zane, thought I'd follow up on this conversation.  We did our first couple of jobs using the Air2S, and ran into a couple of additional issues worth noting:

1. The single battery missions ran flawlessly.  The multiple-battery missions did not.  Whenever the Air2S landed and the app wanted us to confirm we changed batteries, the next leg of the mission ran erratically.  The drone would take off in a wild direction (not straight up), gyrating along the way.  It would eventually climb to altitude, and then just spin (never going to a waypoint).  Thankfully it would return to home successfully.  The only way we could complete the mission was to power off the drone in between batteries, close Map Pilot Pro completely on the iPad, then start the app and the drone.  We could then successfully start at the last waypoint and the drone acted normally for all of the subsequent batteries, so long as the app and drone were completely shut down after each battery.

2.  The other thing worth noting is that we had a Mavic 3 with a DJI RC Pro with us.  Both times that we turned on the Mavic 3 and RC Pro, the Air2S immediately failed and Map Pilot Pro completely abandoned the mission.  Worse yet, it would never go back to any previous waypoints, it would only start over at the beginning.

Just throwing this out there as an FYI for anyone jumping on the Air2S option :)

Thanks for all of your support!

1. We will give that a look.

2. Interesting that they would interfere. This is a big drawback for the any Virtual Stick flights: you have to maintain a perfect connection or it is all over.
