Have not been able to get movable Home Point to function. Do not get yellow cross. 100% connection, great GPS position accuracy on tablet.
Ideas?
Movable Home Point requires one of two GPS position sources: the iOS device or the remote. If your tablet is WiFi only (no cell service) it does not have a GPS. Very few DJI remotes are actually GPS equipped. The Inspires and top end remotes are the only ones that will work if there is no iOS device GPS.

To add a more definitive answer here... It appears the only DJI remotes that have a GPS receiver in them are the Lightbridge ones.
From the SDK documentation:
"Remote Controller’s GPS data. Only supported by Remote Controller using DJI Lightbridge."

I experienced similar issues with "Movable home point" doing regular mapping missions on P4Pv2 and Mini2 with iPad Mini 2019 3G, LTE and MPP 5.4.3.
I see blue dot (my iPad location), but no yellow X inside it. Drone takes off, takes photos and returns to exactly same location where it took off. No matter how far blue point (again, no yellow X inside) for iPad location moves.
Movable home point option is enabled in settings.
During my flight with MPP in spring-autumn of 2021 movable home worked fine for similar setups (P4Pv2 and iPad Mini 2019 3G, LTE), yellow X was present in blue dot.
Can you comment on this, please?

As I mentioned in my previous post I am no longer able to use movable home point with P4Pv2 too. Worked fine during previous year with same hardware setup (P4Pv2 with iPad Mini 2019 3G, LTE). Can you comment on this, please?
Apparently there was a saved setting issue that occurred with the release of 5.4.0 that affected users depending on the current state of the setting. This will be fixed with the release of 5.4.4 which we hope to get out soon. Until that release you may not be able to use movable home point.
