Is there a way to generate a DEM without the vegetation. I want to be able to only have the ground profile
Maps Made Easy uses photogrammetry to do the maps and terrain so it will model everything that is seen. Stripping vegetation and getting a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) is beyond the scope of our service.

The free software CloudCompare (https://www.danielgm.net/cc/) is great for manipulating point clouds, and they implement a couple of ground classification algorithms. The cloth simulator filter algorithm is very fast and easy to use, so I'd suggest starting with that one! If you are familiar with the R programming language, the {lidR} package is excellent and implements a number of point cloud manipulation tools, some of which overlap with CloudCompare. Cloud Compare is good. Didn't realize it could do that though. Good stuff.
