Tag Pilot - FLIR XT Setup

I live in British Columbia, Canada and want to use Tag Pilot with a Zenmuse XT sensor. The FLIR XT setup button is greyed out and I get a location error when I connect the app to the drone and thermal camera. Is this possible in my location?

Tag Pilot is a free app and funding has to come from somewhere. We offer enhanced capabilities to our hardware customers. Some of these customers have paid for additional features to be added to the app to work with their hardware.

We have also heard that there has been some shenanigans with the bidding process for fire work in that region and we are staying out of it. We would love for Tag Pilot to be used in a positive manner but we also have a strong distaste for unfair practices.

If someone (or some company) really wants access to it we are pretty sure they know how to get it.

Hi Jeff, I have gotten the same result and asked the same question a couple of times in the last year plus. The answer that comes back is that Tag Pilot is "Not available" in BC and Alberta, which is very strange. No other explanation has been offered. Someone (or company) must have bought up the rights to Tag Pilot in the region, or something like that. I can't think of any other reason for such a geographically specific denial of service for an app like this. Shame. There are lots of potential positive uses.
