Flying the greyed out area in a flight plan

Where an area of a mission is greyed out because there are too many way points, how do you force the DJI drone to fly the greyed out part of the flight plan?

Flight plans are not greyed out. The line that gets drawn alternates between white and grey to denote anticipated battery change locations. The aircraft will make it as far as it can before coming back for another battery. Then when reloading the flight the same thing will happen again.
