Uploads failing 2020

I have tried 2 or 3 times to upload 120 images from a fiber line and they keep failing. can someone check the server is working for you? Anyone else having issues?

We are sorry to hear you are having trouble upload. What workflow are you using: DJI or Classic? Have you tried different browsers? Have you tried different internet connections?

We still have jobs flowing in properly from all over the world so it sounds like maybe it is a local or setup related issue.

Same issue here ... cannot upload from a cable internet connection.  I've tried twice, 12 hours apart.  And the 2nd attempt was made twice ... once on MS Edge browser and once on Chrome browser.

The first photo is uploaded rapidly and then the process fails.  The system tries 5 uploads of each photo and then generates the error shown below.  Even the first uploaded photo shows this error.  I've never had trouble with MME before and suspect the problem is on MME's end.

Have you tried different browsers?

Have you tried an Incognito or Private browser window?

Have you tried different internet connections?

Chrome should certainly be working. We do ZERO testing with Edge.

As long as you are using a DJI aircraft, please try the new DJI Specific workflow as it was designed to eliminate these issues. The aircraft/camera shouldn't affect the upload but the DJI specific workflow uses different uploader software.

I'm having the exact same problems.  On the DJI workflow once I select files nothing ever happens.  On Classic workflow I have the failure to connect to server pictured when it tries to upload pictures.  I have tried Chrome, Chrome Incognito, Firefox, Edge, and my mobile phone chrome browser on mobile network.  There is definitely a problem of some kind.

It looks like Thomas Dodd got up and going using the DJI specific workflow.

I'm in Austin, TX.  I have good cable internet access.  I cleared the cache in Chrome but that didn't do anything.  The firefox was a completely fresh browser install to try and get this working, same with edge.  I just tried both workflows using my phone as a hotspot to bypass my modem, router, and ISP.

Thank you for putting in that legwork. We are unable to reproduce this issue in various locations and jobs are still streaming in. Based on these reports we can see that there is likely something going on so we will try to dig a bit deeper. A large update occurred this weekend so it could be related to that.

Yes, I am new and made my account I think yesterday to run some tests and It has never allowed me to upload anything in any configuration I've tried.  Let me know if I can help troubleshoot.  Thanks for being so responsive!

We suspect it is a race condition in the loading of some of the libraries. We made a change that might affect things. Do a fresh load and see if that helps.

No, unfortunately the same behavior persists on both workflows. Once I've select the files on the DJI method nothing ever happens.  I get 5 retries on the classic method and they all fail.

Just to be sure, you are selecting at least 20 images on the DJI workflow, right? And then pressing the button.

The upload button won't turn blue until 20 images are selected. If less are selected it will tell you to "Add X more files" as seen here:

Yesterday, Sunday, I had issues uploading a small image set (62) and the new upload did not work but after a few tries, the classic worked.  However, during the upload the process stalled a few times indicated by no progress and then after awhile it started again.  I just figured MME's server was getting hammered but after reading this thread I thought I'd mention it.

FF (current) would not work and finally got it to work on Chrome (not incognito).

So I am wanting to upload a map and have had no luck for 3 days. Now I have all the shots ready but It will require over 300 more points to try and upload and I am not excited about needing to purchase 1500 points at $30 for a service that wasn't even working for me. I have a client waiting and I've been trying since Sunday.  What are my options?

I dont want to waste time trying a smaller amount of shots when it wont be a complete map and I'm falling behind schedule.

I guess ill look at other mapping options at this point.

Just tried a smaller points map to see if it would upload but no dice. I have a 750 point map and I 'm scared to buy points when I don't think its even going to upload. I have never had any issues before it worked like charm.

I just tried a third time with Classic using Chrome, Firefox and EDGE. I am getting the same try 5 times and "receives an empty or invalid response from the server."

This issue has been fixed. The reason we were not able to reproduce the failure is because it only occurred when the files being uploaded were roughly 5 MB or less. Most DJI images are larger than that. The issue has been addressed and all uploads should be able to work with the both workflows again.
