Map Pilot not registered with DJI

Since an update or 2 ago I am now constantly getting a popup message saying that "App not Registered. App is not registered with DJI."

 

Can someone provide some insight into this? What is the cause of this message? Is this going to affect my flying ability?

This means that the app was not started at least one time while the device is on the internet. DJI requires apps the check in to verify that the app provided by the developer is authorized. This is a one time check per installation.
