Setting map boundaries

why does the app through a fit and randomly throw two lines out of my map boundaries, seems to happen when I’m working on points close together. I don’t know how to delete a step so I start over again. I’m on the lite version to try before I purchase.

You likely have a point drawn somewhere very far away. Zoom out all the way and go to that spot to delete it or clear out the whole layout and start over in that location.

To delete the lay out slide the top left panel back to the left and click the Trashcan icon.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but that’s not the case.

i just paid for and downloaded the full version, I started planning my flights. I planned one flight and saved it.

I started planning my second flight, and then zoomed in to tweek the boundaries of the flight. If I try to work on two points that are close, it throws the lines out. See attached image. I have no points planned anywhere else on the map, my 1st planned flight is south of this flight. It’s definitely some sort of bug.

So, I’m still trying to plan the same flight. The issue seems to be that if I try to plot the points too close it throws the lines out rather than warn me the points need to be 25m apart.

as before, video showing this is available.

Please send the video as well. We would like to fix this quickly.

Also, what version of Map Pilot are you using?

Hi Zane,

i hope my video was useful, not sure how or what to do ref the files you requested, I didn’t save anything because as soon as the error occurs I have to press delete and start again. As previously noted, I don’t know how to go back a step when doing my flight boundaries (although it would be handy)

We have fixed this issue and the fix will be released in 4.0.2.

As you suspected it is related to having points really close together.
