Map not completed

Zane-Map not completed, just a narrow line, everything else black.  I had 877 images to process, and enough points.  It took my points, and all I received was a narrow thin line of map.  This is the first time this has occurred!  This is about a 5.5G map, and I just made a 9G map a few days ago with no problems....

Thanks,

Rebecca

It looks like only 90 of the images you intended to upload were successfully uploaded. The Overlap Report shows that all of them were included in the output and the details show only 90 were uploaded. This can happen if you have a lot of failures but there are no gaps in the 90 images so that doesn't sound like it was the issue.

We will provide a refund since it is technically just a free job with your Pro tier subscription. Please be careful to make sure your uploads are successful.

Thank you Zane.  I did upload the entire job again and it went through (I had to buy more points though).  This is just pro-bono work for students at the University of Hawaii Geo dept., but would like to provide them with some quality to work with.  The second map came out much better than the previous strip, but still much of the area I covered was smoothed over or cut off.

You did not have to purchase any points to rerun that job since it was refunded right after you brought up that you had an upload failure. The additional 490 point map is what used the newly purchased points, right?

The overlap report shows that 814 of the 877 images were included in the result. The images that were not included were taken in the surf zone which has moving water which is two things that are not going to work out well as they are called out specifically in the first few items of the Data Collection guidelines.

The edges were trimmed as they have been for vast majority of your previous works. You can turn the Automatic Trimming off in Step 2 of the uploader if you wish to trim it yourself.

Thanks Zane,

I'm glad you are still here and not replaced by a DOGE AI bot!  :-) I actually removed most of the ocean photos that I took and did not upload them or even include them in the pre-map.  I will turn off the automatic trimming.  Thanks for the prompt reply.

Aloha,

Rebecca

And the 490 point map is an entirely new one, a graded land area, with 299 photos.
