Waypoint flight

Hello I am a land surveyor by trade, we created an alignment in our drafting software, exported it to Google Earth, saved as a KML and used that to create a waypoint linear mission. We are looking at right of way corridors flying low and recording video. I have a few questions: A) Our first test flight took a picture at takeoff but didn't auto record video (settings are to record). 2nd test flight i manual started to record and it worked fine. Is there a way to start recording automatically? Also I didn't see a notification that let me know in the app it was recording B) The drone flies from waypoint to waypoint and stops. Is there a way to have it fly continuously through the waypoints without stopping at each angle point of the alignment? Curved areas from the kml come in as small line segments and it stops at each one.  C) We fly low and would like to tilt the camera more horizontal than the 45 degree limit the software seems to have. Is this possible?

I'm sure there are settings I've got screwed up, this is our first attempt at video and alignment/linear/waypoint flights. Thanks in advance

I answered this the other day but apparently it didn't post. Boo.

To answer your questions:

A. Depending on certain settings it can be hard to get the aircraft to switch video modes. Once it is in video mode it will usually work so maybe hit the record button on the remote or mess around taking video in the DJI app before closing it and opening Map Pilot Pro. We will give it a look.

B. If you have "Straight" corners set in the Advanced settings it will do this. Select "Curved" corners and it should keep moving.

C. We don't recommend doing that since it will include the areas near the horizon which are pretty useless for photogrammetry but if you want to do it you can adjust it manually during flight with wheel on the remote.

Ok thanks. I'll try the curve corners. We would only use the camera more horizontally for recording inspection type flights.
