phantom 4

I have a Phantom 4, and I recently installed an additional camera near the proximity sensors. When using the Map Pilot Pro app for flight planning, the drone refuses to fly higher than 1 meter (approximately 3 feet) from the ground.

I suspect this behavior is related to the added camera interfering with the obstacle avoidance system or the way Map Pilot Pro interprets the drone's altitude and sensor data.

I’ve attempted basic troubleshooting, but I need guidance on the following:

  1. How can I ensure the additional camera doesn’t interfere with the sensors?
  2. How do I configure Map Pilot Pro to allow a minimum flight height above 1 meter?
  3. Is there a way to disable the obstacle avoidance system in Map Pilot Pro to test if the issue is related to sensors?

Any help with these questions or additional advice to resolve the issue would be appreciated. Thank you!

We can't really tell you how to fly with different cameras. You should probably try to turn off all of the obstacle avoidance sensors using the DJI app. Unless a lot of care is taken to mount things on the aircraft carefully and balanced automated flight isn't going to work.
