Holes in black pixels - Ortophotos generated by (Adjust Alignment)

Hi!

Why after I using the MME function (adjust the alignment) the new orthophoto generated have holes (no pixels) in all black pixels?

The original ortophoto doesnt have this holes.

There is any way to correct this fail?

It would help so much. I'm spending a lot of time reprocessing this ortophotos to filling this holes.

That means that area didn't have enough overlap. Since it is tucked back under the trees it likely didn't get any contributions from images taken from the east or the south.

To fix it quickly you could merge two copies of it together and have the bottom layer offset very slightly to fill everything in.

Zane,

Why the original ortophoto (before the alignment) doesn't have this holes?

Sorry. I misunderstood. The NODATA value must not be getting set properly in the realignment phase of things. We will look at that.

The good news is you can probably just merge the two and it would get filled in sufficiently.

Also, I you are just looking at the GeoTiff and it doesn't have a background there isn't much reason to be looking at the realigned version anyway.

The real cause is that those spots didn't get enough overlap. The original GeoTiff is filling the NODATA values in with black. The realigned version is leaving them transparent. We will try to address this but you could just change the NODATA value to black.

Ok.

If I collected the GCPs and realigned the ortophoto, why I would need to download the original ortophoto?

I design my projects using only the realigned orthophoto. I need the more precise and accurate image.

The software I import this ortophoto and design my projects have a white background... And when I plot the final project to my customers this holes appears (if I dont solve it before importing).

Its not complicate to fill this holes, but this takes time.

Solving that, It would help me so much...
