Google-to-MME upload error: "Compatible DJI Camera Data Only"

Hi,

Using the DJI workflow to upload photos from Google Drive, no issues in the past, but this time when loading the first test photo I get a pop-up error, "Compatible DJI Camera Data Only". Screenshot below.

The photos were taken with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro, screenshot below with the photo metadata.

I loaded the photo to MME directly from the desktop and... no problem, works fine. So it must be some issue with how Google and MME are working together. Maybe Google has messed with the metadata?

Assuming possibly some corruption in the upload to Google, I cleaned out the folder and re-uploaded the photos. But no, still didn't work.

I hope this helps find the problem, and thanks!

That specific error is only thrown when the XMP tag for the Relative Altitude is not present. This usually happens when 3rd party image management software replaces DJI's native XMP tags with its own. Google doesn't usually mess with the tags. There is probably another software in between there rewriting things.

Please post a publicly downloadable link to one of your files and we can manually check it.

Thanks for the fast reply. Good point, I'll check my Google extensions and find where I went wrong in there.

I loaded them up directly to MME and everything is processing fine.

Thanks!
