thanks
I made a 3D model and it came out flat with the following settings. I need to know what the key is so that the 3D plans always come out.
I'm new, I didn't know this was happening. I want to make a plan with 95/95 overlap in a grid and I'm afraid of wasting money.
In conclusion, what is the key to not wasting money?
87/87 overlap
75 meters altitude
73 degrees rotation

87% overlap is lot of overlap. It equates to over 50 views of everything in the scene which is too much. Try backing your overlap off down to 80-82% overlap.
Lots of overlap is usually a good thing but there is such a thing as too much.
Also, late in the day when shadows are moving quickly it is going to be better to fly N/S passes instead of doing E/W passes like you have done. This would keep like images closer together.
The good news is you can possibly save this dataset by removing some of the imagery. If you take out every other or every third image (be sure to keep your originals) things might turn out better. Run at at half or quarter resolution to see check it ahead of time to see if it turns out better.
