Are the Zenmuse XT and Zemuse Z3 Supported in Map Pilot

I want to try my Zenmuse XT and Z3 cameras with map pilot but am reluctant as i am not sure if they are supported in the AP.  Has anyone used them with map pilot?

The Z3 is not supported by the DJI SDK yet but we do have reports of people using and it working. The XT may also work even though it will not likely make very good maps.

We are looking at adding XT support but there are too many different models and options to do it cleanly at this point. Thermal mapping really only works with the high resolution radiometric variants of the XT camera.

Thank you for the response.   So map pilot will support the XT?   I don't have to worry about it not being compatible and the causing the UAV to crash?   I have the 640 x 512 radiometric version of the XT.   Do you know of people using map pilot with the XT.  Has your group tested it?

If is does work do i take rjpg or jpg images.  If RJPG Can i bring the orthomosaic created back into FLIR tools to manipulate?

Thank you for the help.

Hi

I have a xt and have trind it and it worked but only for jpg and i would like to use r-jpg or tiff files i have started my go app and put in tiff but when i then open maps and fly i get only regularitet jpg files.

I fly with a m600. The xt are cable of doi g timelang with 1 SEK interval and you can make very Nice orthomusaiks with that.

Do you have Any bate runding on the xt that i can try ?

Hi When i use the app on a m600 with a xtr 640/512 9mm 30 Hz.  It take pictures but the image size are 720/568 and the file size around 100kb.

When i trigger in the dji go app i get 640/512 and a file size of around 7-800 kb.

Are There a way to trigger tiff or jpg r files?

Thanks for the help.

If we add support it will likely only be available to customers who purchase their XT through Drones Made Easy.

Any updated info on using the XT thermal camera with Map Pilot?  We have the higher resolution model (640x512), with the radiometric option and 19mm lens. Any planned options for those that didn't buy the camera through Drones Made Easy (it's tough for government agencies to pick who they buy from due to various purchasing rules).  We have an Insipre 1v2 and a forthcoming Matrice 600 to use it with.

Also, is our camera compatible with Tag Pilot?  When we click the FLIR XT setup option in that app, it says to contact Drones Made Easy to purchase a camera to use these features - what can we do with Tag Pilot if we didn't purchase the XT from Drones Made Easy per the reasons above?

Thanks for any guidance.

Tag Pilot offers the ability to purchase the thermal capabilities as an in app purchase, regardless of where the camera was purchased.

We sell the XT cameras at DJI's recommended prices. Everyone selling lower is breaking the pricing agreements. Generally, the government purchasing process will allow the purchase of an item that is higher priced if there is sufficient justification for it (such as access to functions that wouldn't be available otherwise). We have a lot of customers that have gotten around this by providing a justification letter.

Thanks for the reply.  I suspect some govt purchasing rules may be more complex than others.  Anyway, our XT purchase is completed and we're trying to move forward, we'd really like to use Map Pilot with it if possible.

In-app purchases are also quite difficult for us due to various purchasing and approval policies.  We appreciate that Map Pilot has the "Business" purchase option that includes all in-app purchases.  Is this purchase option available for Tag Pilot as well?

Thanks.

We're attempting to do thermal mapping with the XT. We are only looking for relative temperature differences (rather than absolute values). Will MME capture both R-JPEG, JPEG and TIFF's now?

I know Drone Deploy and have a certification in PIX4D but MME is my go to software FIRST.

It would make my life so much easier If I could use my XT 13mm with your software, please consider XT 13mm support

The XT2 camera is supported in the upcoming 4.1 version. We may add XT support at some point. If you purchased your XT2 camera from Drones Made Easy support is free. If not, it is available as an In App Purchase.
