Air2S launches, then hovers, and won't fly the mission

I have flown this mission plan before at this location but now the aircraft just launches up to 10' and just stays there. no error msg.

Your aircraft is controlled by Virtual Sticks, not waypoints. With Virtual Stick controls you cannot use any manual stick input or it kicks it out of the programmed flight mode. There is a warning at the beginning of the flight about this and one that happens when it leaves the programmed flight mode explaining it.

This is occurring on all of your recent flights. Just don't touch the sticks and it will fly as expected.

Also, if you have recently updated your firmware you might need to check the settings in the DJI app to make sure the limits are removed and it isn't in beginner mode.

Are you sure you cleared the airspace properly using the DJI site and app?

I have used a neck strap that connects at two points on the iPad holder snapped onto my DJI RC N1. The straps that hold run very close to the sticks. I’ll not use that neck strap. Thank you.

I do have FAA authorization and have to start the DJI fly app and often reload the certificate to the aircraft. I think I can leave the DJI app open when I fly your app?

We recommend the following steps:
  1. in FLY app, turn the props on to establish FAA Clearance
  2. Close Fly app, remove from background
  3. Open Map Pilot Pro and start mission
*Don’t turn off drone while moving between apps. Restarting drone requires re clearing FAA clearances.
